It's only fitting that Ashley Gorley notched his 35th #1 single ahead of the 2017 ASCAP Awards. At Monday night's event, Ashley was honored for a record-setting 5th time as the Songwriter of the Year! Newly inducted Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter Don Schlitz was on hand to introduce Ashley along with Mike Wilson of My Life Speaks; an organization in Haiti that is close to Ashley and his family.
