Combustion Records

Jameson Rodgers

Jameson Rodgers released his first EP with Combustion in 2016, featuring the fan-favorite streaming smash "Midnight Daydream". The four song EP has amassed over 60 million streams worldwide. 2018's Jameson Rodgers, features the Platinum-certified #1 single "Some Girls", which lead to Rodgers's record deal with Columbia Nashville / River House and his long standing publishing partnership with Combustion Music.

Kolby Cooper

Kolby Cooper joined the Combustion artist roster in fall 2019, bringing along an already robust catalog of songs, including the streaming hits "It Ain't Me" and "Fall". Cooper began releasing music via Combustion almost immediately; with songs garnering over 100 million streams worldwide. Still hailing from East Texas, Kolby Cooper is raising his 3 children with his high school sweetheart and wife, Jillian. After releasing his critically acclaimed album “Boy From Anderson County To The Moon”, he made his Grand Ole Opry debut. Kolby’s latest release through BBR Music / Wheelhouse Records in partnership with Combustion Music “Kill Me” is an in your face anthem with epic vocals and fiery instruments. This is a new era of Kolby Cooper music.

Corey Kent

With over 800 million on-demand career streams, Kent was named a CMT Listen Up Artist for 2023, a Pandora Artist to Watch, a member of The Opry Next Stage Class of 2023, and part of the Sirius XM Class of 2022. He was also nominated for an AIMP Nashville Country Award for AIMP Rising Artist-Writer of the Year. He released his major label debut album, BLACKTOP, in June 2023. The project features Kent’s #1 certified platinum single “Wild As Her,” which has amassed nearly 475 million on-demand streams and helped garner a nomination for Breakthrough Male Video of the Year at the 2023 CMT Awards, as well as a People’s Country Choice Award nomination for New Artist of 2023. The follow-up single, “Something’s Gonna Kill Me,” is currently climbing the radio charts and has nearly 100 million on-demand streams, while the recent single “This Heart” is proving to be another fan favorite. Kent is set to release his sophomore album, Black Bandana, featuring the hit single "This Heart," and is launching his first international headline tour in support of the album. The last 12 months have been non-stop for Kent—the adventure-seeking road veteran wrapped up Jason Aldean’s 42-city “Highway Desperado” tour, playing in front of 15,000+ people each night. To close out 2023, he headlined a slew of shows of his own. Kent then started 2024 in the UK with Ashley McBryde and is currently on the road with friend Parker McCollum for 39 dates in the States. His international “Black Bandana Tour” will start in September on the West Coast, make its way through the U.S., and end in the UK in February 2025. Corey Kent finds himself musically at the intersection of rock-infused country, heartland values, and red dirt grit. Still in his 20s, he built the foundation of a fan base, has been developing his show for 15 years, and is now positioned as one of country music’s next breakout artists nationwide. Drawing inspiration from The Eagles, Keith Richards, Turnpike Troubadours, and more, Kent strives to build an undeniable stage presence, and his bandana-wearing Rock ‘N’ Roll spirit comes to life on the stage.

Faren Rachels

Faren Rachels signed with Combustion Records in late 2021. Throughout her artist career, Rachels has shared the stage with artists ranging from Deana Carter to Luke Combs. Payton Smith

At just 24 years old, Louisiana native singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist, Payton Smith, has a lot to celebrate. Smith began releasing music in 2019; quickly amassing over 50 million streams on his debut single, “Like I Knew You Would”. Known for not only high-energy guitar slinging and smooth vocals, the CMT 2021 Listen Up artist also composed and played every string instrument on each track of his debut project. As Taste of Country noted his “raw talent, authenticity and strong work ethic are bound to bring him country music success for many, many years” as one of 2021’s Hottest Country Artists Under 25. Music Row called Smith the 2021 Next Big Thing, while “Like I Knew You Would” charted as the number 7 song of the year on Spotify’s Hot Country. Payton Smith signed with Combustion Masters in late 2022, releasing “Missed The Boat” in early 2023, marking a new era of music, being produced by Combustion’s Chris Farren. Smith’s debut album, What Colors Your Wild, was released on March 19th, with playlisting features on Apple’s New In County, Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Tidal’s Country Waves, Rising: Country and Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country, gaining 3 million streams.
